Hazardous Air Pollutants System Database (HAPS) of the National Emissions Inventory

Point sources are generally large grounded facilities that emit above a specified threshold. Area sources are either stationary point sources whose facility - specific emissions can be inventoried individually, or are sources whose emissions are estimated through "top-down" methods. They include both nonpoint and nonroad sources of emissions.

Mobile sources include moving vehicles or equipment. The HAPS data is organized into files containing measures of these pollutants for these four source categories in every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. There are also files with summary data.
