I considered data from the same prairie dog in different years to be independent, but I recognize that the same BTPD female was sometimes infanticidal in consecutive years (See Chapter 21 of Hoogland 2026 and Hoogland 1995 for details). These data are the same data I used for Fig 7.7 of Hoogland 1995); I checked all data TWO TIMES for Hoogland 1995 More information on each infanticidal BTPD females is in Hoogland 1995 (See Appendix-B, pages 424-426).
