De geïnterviewde vertelt hoe hij opgroeide op een suikeronderneming in Indië.
Description
In december 1941 werd hij gemobiliseerd. Hij diende bij het VIe bataljon infanterie.
Hij vocht bij de Tjiater-stellingen en vluchtte naar Bandoeng. Daarna zat hij als krijgsgevangene eerst vast in Tjimahi en later werkte hij aan de Pakanbaroe-spoorbaan. Na de capitulatie kwam de geïnterviewde bij militaire politie in Batavia.

Eind 1949 hoorde hij dat hij op de zwarte lijst stond en vertrok daarop naar Manokwari. Hier was hij onder andere hofmeester in het gouverneurshuis. Date Submitted: 2012-08-24
