Women’s queer identities in French literature at the turn of the nineteenth century

This thesis will analyse, for the first time, the literary lives and creative output of four queer women living and writing in France at the fin de siècle – Rachilde, Liane de Pougy, Natalie Clifford Barney and Armen Ohanian.
