Dit interview bestaat uit twee gesprekken: 1059.1 en 1059.2. 1059.1 Vanwege het oog op een goede carrière vertrok de geïnterviewde in 1935 naar Indië.
Description
De geïnterviewde vertelt over zijn werk, wat voor het grootste deel vanuit Nederland geregeld werd. Hij heeft nooit iets van Japanse beïnvloeding gemerkt.
De geïnterviewde en zijn team konden in gevaarlijke situaties terecht komen tijdens hun werk, omdat zij o.a. in de bossen werkten, maar dit viel mee. De geïnterviewde werkte op verschillende plaatsen, waaronder in Nieuw-Guinea. 1059.2 De geïnterviewde vertelt ook hier uitgebreid over zijn werk. Hij vertelt dit keer meer in detail over aanloop naar de nationalisatie.
