This first Lessons Learnt Report synthesises insights from the establishment and early delivery of the Vehicle-Grid Network (VGN) during its first 8 months of operation (from December 2025 to August 2026).
Description
VGN is a national collaboration with an aim to accelerate the commercial deployment of bidirectional electric vehicle (EV) charging in Australia, while maximising benefits for consumers, businesses, and the electricity grid.
This report draws on evidence and insights generated through roundtable and working group discussions, emerging international evidence and partnerships, and the project team’s reflections on its systemic design and delivery during this period.<p></p>
