Id2 promotes sepsis-induced tissue damage by mediating macrophage metabolic reprogramming via Pkm2 [CUT&Tag]

Listed in NCBI GEO

We constructed a single-cell atlas of multi-tissue macrophages of mice in steady-state and sepsis, comparing the characteristics of macrophages of different tissues at both the cellular and genetic levels.

Description

After sepsis,we revealed a consistent glycolytic shift in macrophages, with Pkm2 and Id2 emerging as key genes in this process. Among them, through ATAC-seq and CUT&Tag we demonstrated that Id2 mediates the metabolic reprogramming of macrophages by regulating the chromatin accessibility of Pkm2 with Tcf4 act as a mediator.
