The radar based Quantitative Precipitation Estimation (QPE) generated by the Severe Weather Automatically Nowcast System (SWAN), developed under the leadership of the National Meteorological Center, is used to estimate precipitation.
Description
Its spatial range is set around Chongqing (27 ° -33 ° N, 104 ° -111 ° E), with a total of 5 weather radars (4 S-band and 1 C-band) covering the area. The spatiotemporal resolution of the data is 6 minutes, 0.01 ° x 0.01 °.
