Ostracods (Crustacea, Ostracoda) from groundwater habitats in Italy

We present a database on ostracods (Crustacea, Ostracoda) collected from groundwater habitats in Italy between 2009 and 2018.
Description
A total of 65 samples containing ostracods were collected from 15 natural caves, one mine, and one aquifer across mainland Italy and Sicily. The survey yielded 19 taxa, identified to the lowest possible taxonomic level.
