Efficacy observation and compliance analysis of pollen allergen drops in seasonal allergic rhinitis
Listed in ScienceDB
This study used a single center controlled study from July to September 2021, involving a total of 80 patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis who were allergic to Artemisia annua pollen.
Description
Among them, 40 patients received sublingual immunotherapy as the SLIT group, while the other 40 patients only received symptomatic drug treatment as the control group. Record and compare the total rhinoconjunctivitis symptom score (TRSS), visual analogue scale (VAS), total medication score (TMS), and combined score of medicine and rhinoconjunctivitis symptoms (CSMRS) of two groups of patients during the peak period of Artemisia pollen before treatment and the first year after treatment, to evaluate the efficacy of sublingual immunotherapy with Artemisia pollen.
Track and analyze the dropout situation of patients during immunotherapy, record the reasons for dropout in detail, analyze and explore its safety and factors affecting immunotherapy compliance. Statistical method: SPSS 23.0 software was used for statistical analysis, and the quantitative data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation, i.e. (± s). Normal distribution test was conducted, and pairwise comparisons between groups were conducted using t-test; Count data is expressed in percentage (%).

Bilateral test α= 0.05. Shortcomings: This study has a small sample size and a short observation period, with subjective symptoms and self-evaluation as the main evaluation methods. Biological related immune markers were not detected as objective basis, and it is a single center study with certain limitations.
