Data and Code for “A Temperature-Adaptive Logit-Standardized Knowledge Distillation for Lightweight Network Intrusion Detection”

<p dir="ltr">This dataset contains the minimal data, source code, experimental configurations, and numerical results underlying the findings reported in the manuscript entitled “A Temperature-Adaptive Logit-Standardized Knowledge Distillation for Lightweight Network Intrusion Detection” (PONE-D-26-01596R2).</p><p dir="ltr">The deposited materials include the data used in the NSL-KDD and CICIDS2017 experiments, data-loading and preprocessing code, model implementations, training and evaluation scripts, experimental configurations, dependency files, and numerical outputs supporting the tables and figures reported in the manuscript.</p><p dir="ltr">The kd_revision_project directory contains the implementation of the proposed temperature-adaptive logit-standardized knowledge distillation method and the main experiments.

The legacy_notebooks directory contains supplementary notebooks for the earlier fixed-temperature knowledge-distillation experiments. Instructions for reproducing the experiments and descriptions of the files are provided in the accompanying README files.</p>
