Replication Data for: Fig 18.3, UPDs, Ages of mothers who nursed aboveground, 24 June 2026

I documented 6 cases of UPD aboveground nursing in 1995. But 1995 was my first year of research at the Horse Corral Colony of Bryce Canyon National Park, so I did not know the ages of any UPD mothers that year. No UPD from 1995 are used for this figure 18.3.

I observed 0 cases of UPD aboveground nursings in 1996--so no UPD data in this Fig 18.3 either. For this Fig 18.3, I used one a single data point per year for every mother that nursed aboveground at least one time--even if that single mother nursed aboveground many times in the same year. For several other Figures in Chapter 18, I considered data from the same female in different years--and sometimes from the same female in the same year--as independent.
