This report discusses the dire situation of Afghan civilians, displaced persons, and refugees before September 11, and the fact that it only worsened afterwards.
Description
The withdrawal of all international relief agencies exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. Outside of Afghanistan, asylum seekers, migrants, and refugees faced violations against their fundamental human rights, and their claims for a refugee status were not fully and fairly assessed.
