I created this file from SYSTAT file, which I created on 26 Sept 1988.
Description
I assume that I checked this file TWO TIMES AT CREATION, because I used these data for Hoogland 1995 Frequency of sperm in lavage BEFORE CUC = 5/15 = 33.3% Frequency of sperm in lavage AFTER CUC = 62/70 = 88.6% See Hoogland 1995, pages 255-256 for more details Another OLDFile name = BTPDs, Vaginal lavages, 16 Oct 2020 In this file, variable = FREQ = number of cases for each line regarding presence or absence of sperm and before and after CUC I considered data from the same female in different years to be different These data used for Fig 15.20 in Hoogland 2026.
This file ready for longterm storage on 20 March 2025. Vagina lavages were difficult to obtain and disruptive to students' and my behavioral observations during the mating season. For this reason, sample sizes for BTPDs were small.
