Study on the Deactivation Mechanism of the Main Hydrogenation Catalyst for Crude Benzene

Listed in ScienceDB

The catalyst in the crude benzene hydrorefining unit of a certain enterprise was almost completely deactivated after 50 weeks of operation.

Description

A large amount of coke deposits were observed on the upper section of the main hydrogenation reactor during catalyst unloading. This dataset comprises all characterization data generated throughout the analysis of the coke deposits at the top of the main hydrogenation reactor and the variations in chemical composition of the upper-layer main hydrogenation catalyst within the reactor.
