Diversity of jumping spiders (Araneae, Salticidae) in the Jinggangshan National Nature Reserve, Jiangxi, China

A list of 94 salticid species of 48 genera collected from Jinggangshan National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province is provided. Four new salticid species are diagnosed, described, and illustrated: Charippus wangzuo K. Liu, sp. nov., Cytaea hezizhen K. Liu, sp. nov., Orientattus chushu K. Liu, sp. nov. and Yaginumanis yuanwencai K. Liu, sp. nov. . Previously unknown females of Eupoa pengi Liu, 2021, and Yaginumaella lobata Peng, Tso & Li, 2002 are described for the first time.

In contrast, the data also shows that there are many nature reserves with a high percentage of unknown spider species in need of further intensive and extensive survey. Hence, our study will make a significant contribution to our understanding of species diversity and the importance of the reserve.
