ÜGK / COFO / VECOF 2023, Languages Grade 11: Additional Ticino Variables

The dataset contains two variables relating to dispensations/exemptions from foreign language instruction in the canton of Ticino only. st_disp1fl -> Dispensation code regarding the 1st foreign language French st_disp2fl -> Dispensation code regarding the 2nd foreign language German These variables can be merged with the scientific use file (20 imputed datafiles) contained in the ÜGK / COFO / VECOF 2023 project using the student ID variable "id_student_SUF".

In the scientific use file, the 728 data records belonging to students from Ticino can be identified by means of code 21 in the "id_canton_gen" variable (see ÜGK / COFO / VECOF 2023 Codebook, p. 49).
