Historical records of the beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) from Ukraine

Retrospective information on the location of beetles in Ukraine will be important for monitoring the consequences of the Russo–Ukrainian war, which has been ongoing since 2014 and has disrupted the habitats of many beetle species, making many natural areas inaccessible for scientific research.

Our goal is to summarize all known data on beetle findings in Ukraine. The work is being carried out as part of the preparation of a checklist of Staphylinidae beetles in Ukraine. If there is information about findings of other families of the order Coleoptera in a particular cited work, we also add these findings to the presented dataset.
