Data regarding the impact of leader creativity on voice endorsement

The dataset includes demographic information (e.g., gender, educational background, and years of work experience) as well as behavioral response data under the experimental scenarios.Study 2 was conducted in a nationwide high-tech enterprise in China. A multi-wave, leader–employee matched survey design was employed, consisting of three stages with four-week intervals between each stage. At T1, employees evaluated leader creativity, upward ingratiation climate, and demographic variables.

At T2, leaders evaluated hubristic pride and ego depletion, while employees evaluated leader narcissism. At T3, leaders evaluated voice endorsement. The final sample consisted of 807 valid matched questionnaires nested within 119 teams, with each team comprising 5 to 8 members.To ensure data quality, the dataset underwent attention checks, manual screening procedures, and multi-stage matching processes, demonstrating strong authenticity and reliability.

The entire data collection process followed principles of anonymity and confidentiality, and the data were used solely for academic research purposes.
