Listed in Harvard Dataverse

The survey project is conducted and coordinated by the Commission of Taiwan』s Election and Democratization Studies.

Description

The main purpose of face-to-face interview is to gather the citizens』political perception, attitudes and to observe their electoral behavior. In particular, the amendment of Legislative election rules in 2007 makes the survey more important as it will indicate impacts of the changing of election system on the political behaviors of citizens.

For comparison, the samples will be divided into 1200 independent samples and 2400 tracking samples. The tracking samples are those respondents who were successfully interviewed in 2004 Legislative election. Counting that the success rate of interview is approximately 50%, it is assumed that 1200 successful interviews will be extracted from the 2400 samples.
