The agency created these two electronic index files in order to provide quick access to documents created by the Africa, Asia, and Middle East (Near East) Bureaus of the Agency for International Development.
Description
These indexes are part of the Bureau databases portion of the Development Information System (DIS), which the Agency for International Development (AID) designed to coordinate access to important records relating to international development.
This series consists of two files that ser ve as indexes to the records of foreign aid projects from the Africa, Asia, and Middle East (Near East) Bureaus of the AID. Each index entry contains the country name, project title, project number, and document identification number. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
