Dataset of RSF scouring experiments on undisturbed soil samples on simulated rock-soil structure device

That drives the soils with extremely limited reserves lost from surface and underground through erosion. However, it is still a challenge to quantify the impact of rock surface flow on soil and water loss in a complex geotechnical environment.

To achieve this, The RSF scouring experiment were conducted on these undisturbed soil samples on simulated rock-soil structure device which features the outcrop (exposed rock surface and unexposed RSI) and RSI undisturbed soil. Driving factors include the input flow volume on rock surface (RSFfv) and the inclination of rock surface (IRS). At the same time, our research shows that the erosion of rock surface flow leads to the underground leakage of soil.
