Playing Well on the Data FAIRground: Initiatives and Infrastructure in Research Data Management

Table 1 is a summary of results of implementation of data sharing policies at Elsevier, 2017–2018. Over 2,200 journals were eligible for data sharing roll-out and their editors consulted for the advised policy to be instated.

Table 2 shows deposition of data during manuscript submission to Mendeley Data Repository per subject category, 2017–2018. Table 3 is a roadmap to implement FAIR data support at Elsevier: high level overview of steps necessary to support FAIR data creation and sharing. Shaded cells (green to red) refl ect if implementation is in the future (red) or already been initiated (yellow), or otherwise are live (green).
