Meningioma cell reprogramming and microenvironment interactions underlie brain invasion

Listed in NCBI GEO

Meningiomas brain invasion encumbers resection and increases the risk of tumor recurrence, but the molecular mechanisms underlying meningioma brain invasion are poorly understood.

Description

To identify molecular and cellular features of brain-invasive meningiomas, we performed spatial transcriptomic of brain-invasive meningiomas. Our results reveal that meningioma brain invasion is defined by molecular remodeling of tumor cells and functional interactions within the tumor microenvironment.
