Transient activation of ciliary CCR2 signaling promotes the initiation of adipogenesis

Listed in NCBI GEO

Primary cilia serve as sensory hubs that integrate extracellular cues to regulate adipogenesis.

Description

To investigate the underlying transcriptional programs during adipogenic commitment, we performed RNA-seq profiling of primary mouse adipocyte precursors (Lin-CD34+CD29+Sca1+) at distinct stages of adipogenic differentiation. This dataset reveals the dynamic expression of cilia-related genes and uncovers the transient activation of the ERK signaling pathway, providing mechanistic insights into cilium-dependent adipogenic initiation.
