HR 0.627; 95% CI [0.549, 0.716]; log-rank <i>p</i> < 0.001. <b>b</b>, Cumulative mortality at prespecified time points with absolute risk differences. The absolute difference in survival increased from 3.0% at 3 months to 14.9% at 24 months.
Panel <i>b</i> values are Kaplan–Meier estimates, which account for censoring and are therefore higher than the crude proportions reported in the Abstract and <a href="plosmedicine.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pmed.1005262#pmed.1005262.t002" target="_blank">Table 2</a>. <i>N</i> = 1,567 propensity score-matched pairs per group.</p>
