This dataset is a field sighting dataset for the paper "When occurrence does not reflect preference: coastal development reshaping habitat use of a threatened dolphin", containing a total of 1084 endangered dolphin field sighting records stored in 1084sightings.txt.
Description
The dataset records the location, time, environment, and coastal development related variables of dolphin sightings in the wild, which are used to distinguish the actual distribution and habitat preferences of species, quantify the reshaping effect of human development activities such as coastal engineering and shoreline reconstruction on the utilization pattern of endangered dolphin habitats.
