HOT Physical Oceanography Cruise summary data

Station inventories are given in files with the extension "sum" (e.g., HOT-1 is summarized in hot1.sum. Station inventories from the ALOHA-Climax (AC) cruises are summarized in files with the prefix ac (e.g., AC-1 is summarized in ac1.sum). These summary files are written using formats specified by the WOCE Hydrographic Programme Office, and are detailed in the WHP Office Report WHPO 90-1 at "whpo.ucsd.edu/manuals.htm" The continuous flow of these data depends on funding, and that depends in part on the credits that we get from the data users.
