GUYADIV forest plot network: geospatial dataset of plot locations and spatial extents

The dataset is provided in GeoPackage (.gpkg) format using the WGS 84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG:4326), and is compatible with standard geographic information system (GIS) software. The geo-dataset consists of two files: GUYADIV_Plots.gpkg: spatial representation of all GUYADIV plots, showing their actual shape and size at ground level, without correction for slope.

GUYADIV_Plots_X0Y0.gpkg: geographical location of the starting point of PCQ plots and of the origin point (x₀, y₀) of exhaustive plots. The positional uncertainties associated with the geographical coordinates provided in the attribute tables were estimated based on the geolocation methods used. These uncertainties range from 1 to 100 metres: 1 metre for plots surveyed by a surveyor, 10 metres for those georeferenced using GPS, and up to 100 metres for those located using maps.
