The Ruminative Reponse Scale (RRS) assesses ruminative tendencies in terms of Reflection (comtemplating to alleviate negative mood, e.g., "Write down what you are thinking and analyze it") and Brooding (moody pondering, e.g., "Think 'Why do I always react this way?'').
