The dataset comprises processed magnetic total intensity anomalies derived from airborne geophysical surveys conducted in the area of Drautal/Gailtal (Carinthia) between 2003 and 2006 by GeoSphere Austria in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Army.

Description

Data from multiple survey campaigns were harmonized and merged into a consistent regional dataset. Processing included correction for temporal variations of the Earth’s magnetic field, removal of the International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF), heading error correction, and upward continuation to a smoothed reference surface.

The data are provided as raster datasets (GeoTIFF) and are suitable for geological and geophysical analyses.
