As noted on its leaflet, SEAGA's goal is to '[t]o incorporate socio-economic and gender considerations into development projects, programmes and policies in order to ensure that all development efforts address the needs and priorities of men and women.' The Field Level Handbook targets field-based development workers.
Description
It provides tools for better identifying key development patterns, analyzing livelihoods, and building consensus about the development priorities of communities at the local level.
Chapters cover rapid appraisals, working in the field, using field information, and how to use the three SEAGA Toolkits on development context, livelihood analysis and stakeholders' priorities for development.
