NASA ER-2 Water Ozone Experiment (WOX) Data

Listed in National Center for Atmospheric Research

This dataset contains ozone measurements from the Harvard University Water Ozone Experiment (WOX) aboard the ER-2 for 9 missions during CEPEX.

Description

The ozone instrument determined ozone by measuring the absorption of 253.7 nanometer radiation. Ambient air was alternately drawn through a scrubber that chemically removed ozone to determine a reference signal.

The ozone signal was determined with ambient air flowing through the detection cell. Ozone concentration was then determined using Beer's law. Units are ppbv.
