Woodsmith Project Interview material

The collection includes a record sheet used to conduct key informant interviews and interview summaries from the record sheets of interviews undertaken in the coastal and rural localities of Scarborough, Redcar and Cleveland.

Due to the reasonable risk of participant re-identification, individual record sheets have not been shared. The study was conducted by the Sustainable Development Goals Health and Wellbeing research consortium (SDG-HaW), an independent academic group established by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in 2019 with funding from the Anglo American Charitable Foundation. The research forms part of Anglo American's Sustainable Mining Plan, launched in 2018, which commits the company to supporting progress towards locally prioritised Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) health and wellbeing targets in communities influenced by its global mining operations.
