Characterization of Human Umbilical Cord Plasma MicroRNAs at Birth and Their Association with Birth-Related Biological Factors, Maternal and Fetal Exposomes, and Factors Related to Early-Life Adiposity Programming

Listed in NCBI GEO

To characterize the human umbilical cord plasma (UCP) microtranscriptome profile at birth, we sequenced microRNAs in UCP samples collected at delivery, between the 34th and the 42th weeks of pregnancy (mean gestationnal age at birth: 39.3 ± 1.3 weeks), from 286 newborns from the Gen3G cohort.

Description

We then performed association analyses to assess the microRNA profile correlation with birth-related biological factors, maternal and fetal exposomes as well as factors related to early-life adiposity programming.
