Finding Friends Online: Online Activities by Deaf Students and Their Well-Being

Over 200 hearing, deaf and hard-of-hearing students (18-25 years) in both the Netherlands and the US filled in a questionnaire about their online activities, friendship quality of online, offline and mixed friendships and their well-being.
Description
Goal of the research project was to gain insights in the differences between online, mixed and offline friendship quality of deaf and hard-of-hearing adolescents compared to hearing ones and its relation with their levels of well-being.
