Created by professor Eep Talstra and his WIVU team, this database holds the complete text of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament in the original languages of Classical Hebrew and Aramaic), with low and high level linguistic tagging.
Description
WIVU stands for the Werkgroep Informatica, the Department of Biblical Studies and Computer Science at the Faculty of Theology, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. MQL is a query language based on the Ph.D. Thesis of Crist-Jan Doedens (see the relations field).
An implementation of MQL is needed to access the data in this data set. EMDROS is such an implementation and can be downloaded from emdros.org/. It is created by Ulrik Sandborg-Petersen.
