Dit databestand bevat gegevens van de vergisting van het zuiveringsslib per installatie, bij de openbare rioolwaterzuiveringsinstallaties (rwzi's).
Description
Vergisting van slib is een proces waarbij onder zuurstofloze omstandigheden de afbreekbare bestanddelen worden omgezet door specifieke bacteriën. Bij dit proces wordt biogas gevormd, wat kan worden ingezet voor energieproductie.
Door de vergisting wordt het slib minder rotbaar en is het daarna beter te verwerken. This data-file contains information on all Urban Waste Water Treatment Plants (UWWTP) in the Netherlands. All UWWTP's are managed and operated by the 23 regional waterboards.

This file contains all general and design specifications of the UWWTP's, among which design capacity, type of treatment as well as the type of auxiliary treatment steps and sludge processing methods. The file contains also codes for the spatial allocation of the UWWTP, like province, municipality and waterboard.
