CERN@school: William Crookes' Notebook Radiation Measurement Data

It was collected at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, who hold Crookes' notebooks in their archive, as part of Helen Arney's "BIG SCIENCE" event held on Tuesday 18th June 2013. Experimental Setup Please see the included photo, "ri_crookes_notebook_setup.jpg", for an illustration of how the detector and notebook were arranged.

The desk seen is that of the Royal Institution's Lecture Theatre. This data was collected before the "BIG SCIENCE" event itself, and did not form part of "QUARKGAZING LIVE". Detector Settings 600 frames were obtained with an acquisition time of 1 second (i.e. this data represents a 10 minute sample).
