A. SUMMARY This dataset shows the geographic boundaries of SFPD patrol sectors within each police district.
Description
It can be used to identify the sector associated with a particular area of San Francisco. B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED The dataset is based on the approved SFPD sector boundaries within each police district and is maintained as geographic (GIS) data.
C. UPDATE PROCESS The dataset is updated when SFPD sector boundaries are officially changed. Updates are coordinated with the appropriate SFPD/GIS staff before publication. D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET Users can use this dataset to view and analyze SFPD patrol sectors and their geographic boundaries.
