Replication data for: Impacts of forages differing in undigestible neutral detergent fibre concentration and grain processing method on performance, feeding behaviour, carcass quality, and indicators of gut health in beef cattle

Listed in Borealis

Description

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of forage sources differing in concentrations of uNDF using haylage (high uNDF) and corn silage (low uNDF) and grain processing, distinguished by a more processed (high moisture corn) or less processed (rolled corn) grain in feedlot finishing diets on animal performance, feed efficiency, feeding behaviour, carcass quality, gut health indicators, and ruminal pH parameters in feedlot steers.
