This dataset provides an updated on the inventory of the Mediterranean non-indigenous species (NIS) and cryptogenic species, based on published data.
Description
The dataset currently includes twenty-seven species, comprising 1,102 records, referring to 6 phyla, 8 classes, 13 orders, 23 families and 25 genera. The occurrence dataset covers 19 countries, with Italy being the country with the highest number of reports.
