Bees of the genus Andrena Fabricius, 1775 (Hymenoptera, Andrenidae) from Kursk, Lipetsk, Tambov and Voronezh regions of European Russia (1942-2025)

Studied specimens are stored in the collections of Voronezh State University (VOR) and Zoological Institute RAS, Saint Petersburg (ZIN). All specimens were studied and identified by D.A. Sidorov.Significant part of the studied speciments (63,6%) were collected in Protected Areas: Central Chernozem State Nature Biosphere Reserve, Divnogorye Nature Reserve, Galichya gora State Nature Reserve, Khopersky State Nature Reserve, Kamennaya Steppe State Nature Reserve, Voroninsky State Nature Reserve, Voronezh State Nature Biosphere Reserve.The names of listed species follows "Annotated Catalogue of the Hymenoptera of Russia" (Proshchalykin et al., 2017) with further corrections and additions (Proshchalykin et al., 2023).

Unlike the GBIF Taxonomy Backbone, we consider Andrena afzeliella (Kirby, 1802), A. batava Pérez, 1902, A. fallax Eversmann, 1852 and A. fulvicornis Schenck, 1853 as valid species, based on actual taxonomic publications.This research was carried out with the support of the Russian Science Foundation (grant No. 22-14-00026-П).
