Isodromus luceres Noyes, 2010 (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) is recorded for the first time in Brazil. The studied specimens were reared from a chrysopid cocoon (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae) whose larva had been collected in a sugarcane field in the municipality of Ribeirão Preto, state of São Paulo, Brazil. This finding represents a significant southeastern range extension of approximately 5,800 km from its previous known distribution, which was restricted to Costa Rica and Honduras, in Central America.
