Co doping induces CoxP-Ni2P bimetallic site and acid synergistic effect to achieve efficient hydrodeoxidation

Listed in ScienceDB

CoxP-Ni2P/ SiO2-y catalyst with CoxP-Ni2P bimetallic site and acidic site coexisting was prepared by Co doping on the basis of Ni2P active phase with mesoporous SiO2 as the support (y is the initial P/(Ni+Co) molar ratio).

Description

The structure and chemical properties of the catalyst were characterized by XRD, BET, XPS, H2-TPR, NH3-TPD, Py-FTIR and TEM. The hydrodeoxidation performance of the CoxP-Ni2P/SiO2-y catalyst was investigated using m-cresol as the model compoundThe crystal structure of the catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and D/max-2200PC X-ray diffractometer made by Rigaku CorporationThe specific surface area, pore size and pore volume of the catalyst were determined by nitrogen physical adsorption (BET) using the Tristar II 3020 physical adsorption instrument produced by Mack Instruments, USAThe valence states of the elements on the catalyst surface were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) using ESCALAB MKII equipmentThe catalyst reducibility was analyzed by hydrogen programmed temperature reduction (H2-TPR), and the number of catalyst acidic sites was analyzed by ammonia programmed temperature desorption (NH3-TPD).

Both were analyzed by Micromeritics AutoChem 2920 II chemisorbent. Pyridine infrared (Py-FTIR) uses the Bruker Tensor 27 infrared spectrometerThe HDO performance of the catalyst was evaluated in a 50ml stainless steel reactor. Place 20mg of catalyst and 10ml of n-dodecane containing 2wt% m-cresol (m-cresol (g)/ catalyst (g) = 7.5) into the reactor.

The reactor is then sealed and H2 purged three times, and finally H2 gas is pressurized to the specified pressure. Subsequently, stir and heat the reactor to the specified temperature. After the reaction, the reactor was cooled to room temperature and the reaction products were analyzed with a gas chromatograph (Shimadzu GC14C, Japan)
