I assume that I checked this file TWO TIMES AT CREATION Note on 23 July 2020: NO DATA from RMC or VCC here--but data from RMC and VCC are added on 30-31 Aug 2021 OLD File name = GPDs, Babywt vs Octwt, 27 Aug 2021 This file contains data from juvenile body mass from for RMC and VCC On 26-27 Aug 2021, all data in Columns A through H checked ONE TIME ONLY Most data in this file also checked at other times. See notes below.

On 27 Aug 2021, I add body mass of 490 to FR (O37) from 14 Sept 2015 On 27 Aug 2021, I add information for 135 (987), who was a baby in 2017 On 27 Aug 2021, I add information for CBS (991), who was a baby in 2017 For 135 and CBS, no good information on survivorship until spring 2018. For much of file, I have checked data TWO TIMES. And I have done several other quick checks for outliers For GPD juvenile body masses, I only used body masses from litter summary sheets.

On 22 Oct 2021, I added 7 GPD juvenile body masses for the litter from HO in 1994. I did NOT search for a few other juvenile body masses in the marking sheets for all GPDs. For RMC and VCC juvenile body masses, by contrast, I used all body masses in the the marking sheets.

Some of the RMC and VCC juvenile body masses in this file are NOT in the litter summaries. I have TRIED to use only juvenile body masses shortly after first emergence. In some cases, juveniles had been aboveground for several days before I could capture them.

For statistical analyses in SYSTAT, I will delete all GPD cases when Juvenile body mass at first emergence >300 grams.

Note

In 2013 the Thompson Ridge Fire occurred at RMC. I could not enter RMC when many of at the juveniles were first emerging. In that year, MANY of the juvenile body masses were from older babies.

Should I consider not using data from 2013 for juvenile body masses? Answer: I DID use 2013 juvenile body masses from RMC in 2013, but only when juvenile body mass <=300 grams All data in this file now checked TWO TIMES on 25-26 Oct 2021. No info here for PEFO eartags.

Some of the eartags for 2018 are out of order. I do not know why. Another OLD File name = Juvenile body mass, GPDs, all three colonies, 13 May 2025 PEFO = Petrified Forest National Park, where I studied GPDs from 1989 through 1995 Plague struck PEFO in my last year (1995), so NO INFORMATION on Lifespan for GPD juveniles weaned in 1995 RMC = Redondo Meadow Colony at Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP), where I studied GPDs from 2013 (Thompson Fire in June 2013) through 2016 Plague in Summer 2016 VCC = Visitor Center Colony at VCNP, where I studied GPDs in 2017 and 2018.
