Phosphorus map of Queensland 2022

The bicarbonate-extractable P map was produced by fitting a Cubist model between data point observations of P and spatial environmental covariate data which represent factors of soil formation. Based on the model relationships at these points, Colwell P was predicted across the study area.

This map is a product of Stage 3 of the project and was completed in 2022. Stage 3 covers the following areas south of the Gulf and Cape York Natural Resource Management Regions: Fitzroy, Burnett, Southeast, Darling Downs and Balonne – Maranoa, Burdekin, Herbert, Wet Tropics, Atherton Tablelands, Mitchell grasslands of the Thompson and the Channel Country.
