California Water Rights Uses and Seasons

Water rights contains conditions such as; the season (including a beginning date and an ending date) during which diversion of water may occur; the amount of water that may be diverted; the purpose for which the water can be beneficially used; the place where the water can be used; etc.

Water can be diverted and use directly or can be diverted and stored for future use. Each row in the daset correspond with a unique combination of water right id-use code combination and its associated data. The list include basic summary information about the Water Right record, such as the type and status, the location of the Points of Diversion, the amount of water allowed (Face Value), and summary data associated with the electronic Water Right record.
