Genes differentially regulated by knockdown of miR-30e-3p and miR-34b-5p in human primary trophoblast

Listed in NCBI GEO

Maternal folate deficiency during pregnancy results in adverse outcomes.

Description

We have found miR-30e-3p and 34b-5p to be directly downregulated by folate deficiency in placental trophoblast cells and wanted to determine cell functions/pathways affected by these miRNAs. Using microarrays we identified a number of functional pathways for further analysis that could contribute to placental dysfunction in folate deficient women.
