[ Metadata ] Geoid 12B: Hybrid geoid model used to convert the ellipsoidal height obtained by the Global Navigation Satellite System (to the orthometric height of a specific vertical datum).
Description
The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) has been producing the hybrid geoid to convert the ellipsoidal height obtained from the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to the orthometric height of a specific vertical datum. The GEOID12B model is intended to transform between NAD 83 (2011/PA11/MA11) and the respective vertical datums for the different regions, including NAVD88, GUVD04, ASVD02, NMVD03, PRVD02 and VIVD09.
